Llandudno conversions: more than a floor number

A flat in a converted period building may have several stair turns, shared doors and no lift. Tell us how many flights are involved, whether landings are narrow and where the vehicle can load.

Identify furniture that will not pass through the entrance assembled, and point out fragile pieces or original surfaces that need particular care. Photos of the stair route are more useful than simply describing the property as a flat.

Colwyn Bay slopes and Rhos-on-Sea entrances

For a Colwyn Bay address on a slope, describe the steps and gradient between the road and front door. Check whether there is a usable driveway or whether the load must be carried from a roadside position.

At a Rhos-on-Sea or Penrhyn Bay property, include any communal access arrangements and parking restrictions. We plan from the actual entrance and load, not a blanket assumption about coastal homes.

Downsizing or relocating from the Conwy coast

If you are downsizing, separate the furniture going to the new home from anything staying behind or entering storage. A clear destination for each item helps keep the quotation and unloading plan accurate.

For a longer relocation, share both addresses and the likely key-release time. Packing and storage can be discussed alongside the removal; the Rhyl and Prestatyn page covers moves further east along the coast.

“Apex removals recently moved my whole house contents from Wrexham to the North East of England and the staff could not be more helpful and even after a very long day nothing was a problem to them and they went out of their way to make the move work like clockwork. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.”

“Thanks to the Apex Team for sorting out my house move. It was a big job and also involved taking away unwanted furniture and a garage full of waste which I know they dispose of responsibly. I understand they always try and recycle/upcycle items where they can. Very professional and reliable.”

“Excellent service from Apex this week! We used them for moving furniture to storage, and will definitely use them again when the new house is ready. There were a few obstacles on the day but nothing was too much trouble for Ryan's team, assisting with last-minute dismantling and an unplanned additional van load! They went above and beyond, and took great care with everything. Trusted, professional, swift and friendly - highly recommended!”

“Apex recently helped us move and I could not recommend these guys high enough. They arrived bang on time and got stuck straight in. For myself as a heavily pregnant woman with my husband who is disabled, they were a god send. If it wasn't for them we'd still be moving between the houses 3 days later, instead we were settled in to our new home within 5 hours. Very reasonably priced too, but honestly the service they provided us was priceless. Thank you again!!”

“Absolutely amazing service. From start to finish we felt well looked after. We watched the guys expertly move our furniture through small spaces - they worked so hard to make the experience stress free. They are also the friendliest bunch of people - highly recommended!!”

“Apex went above and beyond to provide last minute removal work in Wrexham when our demolition date changed. Lovely people who helped move furniture to multiple locations, even removed freezers for us. Put our minds at ease throughout and no ask was too big an ask. Highly recommend to anyone who wants quality customer service.”
