Removals in Chester: the short answers

Where does this Chester guide cover?
CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4: Chester city centre, Hoole, Handbridge, Upton, Boughton, Saltney, Blacon, Vicars Cross, Christleton, Great Boughton. Collections are organised from our Wrexham base; include your exact address and destination when enquiring.
What should I plan for a Chester move?
For a Chester city-centre flat, start with the building entrance rather than the bedroom count. Tell us the floor, whether there is a usable lift and how furniture reaches the street. If the property is above shops or reached through a shared courtyard, photographs are particularly useful.
What else matters when preparing a Chester removal?
Check lift use, communal-door access, building rules and the nearest permitted loading point for your address. Send the floor number and photographs of tight turns with your enquiry so the quote allows for the real route from the flat to the vehicle.
How do I get a quote for a Chester move?
Use the free enquiry form with both postcodes, the property details and your inventory. Include the local access details described above. Packing, dismantling and cleaning are optional, and you can choose Not sure yet for the date. We confirm a written quote; the form does not book or take payment.
How do I contact Apex Removals?
Call 07873 773615 or email info@apexremoval.co.uk. We are open monday to saturday, 8am–6pm. sunday by arrangement. Our base is 6 Ranscombe Crescent, Wrexham LL13 9UX.

City-wall apartments: check the whole route out

For a Chester city-centre flat, start with the building entrance rather than the bedroom count. Tell us the floor, whether there is a usable lift and how furniture reaches the street. If the property is above shops or reached through a shared courtyard, photographs are particularly useful.

Confirm any loading restrictions or building-manager requirements for your exact address. Access near the Rows can differ from a residential street outside the walls, so a city-centre postcode alone is not enough to decide where a vehicle can stop.

Hoole, Handbridge and the residential suburbs

Moving from a Hoole terrace? Include the distance from the nearest available parking to the door and whether a rear entrance can be used. At Handbridge or Boughton addresses, tell us about steps, narrow halls and furniture that must turn on a landing.

Upton, Vicars Cross and Christleton include homes with driveways, but we still need to know the entrance width and whether the vehicle can turn. For Saltney and other CH4 addresses across the border, the quotation follows the same process: the actual load, journey and access at both ends.

Choose the right service for your Chester load

A whole household, a few items from a flat and an office relocation require different amounts of space and labour. Use the full removals enquiry for a home or business move; our Man and van Chester page covers smaller loads and single furniture items.

If your new address is not ready, the Storage in Chester page explains collection and redelivery. Packing can be requested for the whole home or just fragile belongings. Tell us what you need rather than assuming every optional service is part of the basic move.

“Apex removals recently moved my whole house contents from Wrexham to the North East of England and the staff could not be more helpful and even after a very long day nothing was a problem to them and they went out of their way to make the move work like clockwork. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.”

“Thanks to the Apex Team for sorting out my house move. It was a big job and also involved taking away unwanted furniture and a garage full of waste which I know they dispose of responsibly. I understand they always try and recycle/upcycle items where they can. Very professional and reliable.”

“Excellent service from Apex this week! We used them for moving furniture to storage, and will definitely use them again when the new house is ready. There were a few obstacles on the day but nothing was too much trouble for Ryan's team, assisting with last-minute dismantling and an unplanned additional van load! They went above and beyond, and took great care with everything. Trusted, professional, swift and friendly - highly recommended!”

“Apex recently helped us move and I could not recommend these guys high enough. They arrived bang on time and got stuck straight in. For myself as a heavily pregnant woman with my husband who is disabled, they were a god send. If it wasn't for them we'd still be moving between the houses 3 days later, instead we were settled in to our new home within 5 hours. Very reasonably priced too, but honestly the service they provided us was priceless. Thank you again!!”

“Absolutely amazing service. From start to finish we felt well looked after. We watched the guys expertly move our furniture through small spaces - they worked so hard to make the experience stress free. They are also the friendliest bunch of people - highly recommended!!”

“Apex went above and beyond to provide last minute removal work in Wrexham when our demolition date changed. Lovely people who helped move furniture to multiple locations, even removed freezers for us. Put our minds at ease throughout and no ask was too big an ask. Highly recommend to anyone who wants quality customer service.”
